Renewing Damaged Smiles with Restorative Dentistry

Dental Implants

No matter if you are missing a single tooth or an entire row, dental implants offer the absolute best way to help restore the look and function of your smile. These small titanium posts are placed into the jawbone, where they integrate with the surrounding bone to act as artificial tooth roots. The end result is a level of support for dental crowns, bridges, and dentures that simply cannot be matched. At Desert Dental Alternatives, we offer both traditional and mini dental implants in order to meet the diverse needs of our patients.

Dentures have helped millions of patients restore their smiles after extensive tooth loss. These versatile restorations feature a gum-colored base and artificial teeth. We can provide a traditional denture that is removable and affordable. In addition, we also offer implant-supported dentures for patients who are seeking the most stable prosthesis available. Dr. Bruno Lemay can also retrofit an existing traditional denture so that it can secured by mini dental implants.

Dental Crowns

A dental crown offers a safe and trusted restorative solution for patients with a damaged or badly decayed tooth. These durable, tooth-colored caps cover the surface of a tooth to reinforce its structure and greatly improve its appearance. To begin treatment, we will first reshape your tooth before taking a detailed impression. This impression will be sent to our partner lab, where your crown will be custom-crafted from lifelike materials. When you return to our practice, we will bond the crown securely in place.

Dental Bridges

If you are missing up to three consecutive teeth, we can use a dental bridge to fill the gap and restore balance to your bite. A bridge is a custom prosthesis consisting of multiple artificial teeth that have been fused together. Dental bridges can be secured by dental crowns on each end or by dental implants. We have partnered with a local dental lab for nearly a decade in order to provide our patients with beautiful bridges that blend flawlessly with their smiles.

Full Mouth Reconstruction

For some patients, a single restorative procedure cannot adequately address all of their concerns. With full mouth reconstruction, we will combine multiple procedures into a personalized treatment plan to correct a variety of oral health issues and rehabilitate the look and function of your smile. Your full mouth reconstruction will be completely personalized based on your distinctive needs, preferences, and budget. In addition to restorative procedures, full mouth reconstruction can also include general and cosmetic dentistry procedures as well as oral surgery.

Inlays and Onlays

In some cases, a dental filling cannot sufficiently repair a tooth after treatment for decay, while reshaping it and placing a dental crown would likely be unnecessary. Fortunately, an inlay or onlay can provide a lasting and effective solution. An inlays is used to cover the chewing surfaces of a tooth, while onlays extend to its cusps, or raised portions, and down its sides for more comprehensive coverage. No matter what type you receive, your inlay or onlay will be created at our partner lab using highly durable materials.

When oral bacteria leads to a dental cavity, we can treat decay and use a dental filling to restore the strength of your tooth. We can provide a traditional metal amalgam filling, which is durable and highly affordable. In addition, we also offer tooth-colored composite fillings that blend discreetly with enamel and form a more secure bond. We perform fillings using a combination of anesthesia and a gentle, accurate touch to ensure your comfort.
